Hi Duffo fans,
Best fishes for the holiday season and the new year. Hopefully I’ll get to say hi to you at one of my many shows in 2019.
I have quite a few Bowie shows coming up, including four ‘Ziggy’ shows at the Opera House on 14,15 & 16 June.
My Bowie Unzipped show will continue playing special Sydney shows along with regular interstate shows.
On July 27 we’ll be performing at the ‘One Giant Leap’ concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing in 1969.
Bowie’s ’Space Oddity’ became an international hit during the moon landing period, so it makes sense to perform his songs at the ‘One Giant Leap’ celebration concert.
In September, i’ll be joining the ‘British Invasion tour’ playing shows in most major Australian cities. Along with American performers, Rob Caudil and Lance Strauss the travelling musical circus will visit many urban and rural centres performing our tribute to the greatest British artists of all time, Bowie, Rod Stewart and Elton John.
I’ve also been performing in a show called ’Take a walk on the Wildside’ , which pays homage to the songs of Lou Reed and Velvet Underground. We have shows coming up in Sydney and Melbourne.
